Power user tools:
Model Definition

Individual surfaces and wells can be selected for use in the Structural and Geological Modeling processes (using the Model Data Control panel). This provides functionality to create various scenarios using different data, and provides a step-by-step modeling approach.
The user defines the 3D model areas which are to be gridded for the geomodel. This can be the entire reservoir area or a user-defined sub-part of the reservoir. The 3D model area is used in various other workflow processes, such as Surface Modeling, Velocity Model Definition and Well Filtering.
Example: Model surface selection in Model Data and a 3D Model Area to define the geological modeling area
