Everyone knows the Microsoft Excel macros. This concept is great: Extending excel with your own very complex algorithms on top of the excel data model.The macro plug-in for JewelSuite™ is something similar. You can write your own complex algorithms on top of the JewelSuite™ data model. In fact, it is the most powerful plug-in for JewelSuite™ and you can do virtually everything with it.
You will have full access to the JewelSuite™ data model and have almost all of the possibilities that you have with the SDK. This includes possibilities like accessing all wells and logs, JOA grids, properties, surfaces, etc, etc.
Both Visual Basic (VB.NET) and C# are languages that are supported, and you have full access to the .NET Framework with a visual studio look and feel.
You can exchange your macros or a set of macros very easily between your colleagues and provide everyone with a set of very useful algorithms.
