Reservoir Definition

In JewelSuite™, before building a JOA Grid, a reservoir definition needs to be made. This definition involves the:
- Layering of the grid
- Coupling of the horizons to model layers top and base
- Definition of hierarchical levels of the grid
- The specific model layer properties, such as
- Lithology type
- Conform behavior of layering
- Number of internal layers
- Grouping of layers (used during upscaling, where layers are grouped together)
The reservoir definition will be attached as the second input for creating the JOA® grid. Changing or updating the reservoir definition after this point will cause the user to re-grid. This is an easy, fast way to perform model updates.
Example: Reservoir definition with 3 levels and 1 horizon coupling
