Geostatistical Software Library (GSLIB)
This name was originally used for a collection of geostatistical programs developed at Stanford University over the last 15 years. The original GSLIB inspired the writing of GSLIB: Geostatistical Software Library and User's Guide by Clayton Deutsch and André Journel, during 1990 - 1992. The second edition was completed in 1997. Using this JewelSuite™ GSLIB plug-in, you will be able to export and import your JOA® grid and properties to and from the GSLIB file format. This allows for integration of advanced property modeling tools in the context of your JewelSuite™ model and JOA® Grids, for example in WinGsLib, the windows based application developed around the GSLIB library.
The plug-in uses the generic GSLIB ascii file format for grid and property data exchange. Since many other property modeling related applications also support this format, many additional external property modeling applications can be accessed and integrated in the JewelSuite™ reservoir modeling workflow.
