Some of the new 2009 functionality includes the completion of what we see as the strongest structural framework builder in the market with unparalleled flexibility of both automated “snap and seal” but also allowing the user to manually fix fault structures directly in the 3D viewer. The Macro plug-in enables the user to use its own algorithms and build automated workflows, just like one can do in MS Excel. The ability to create Arbitrary Cross Sections in JewelSuite 2009, will allow the user to be more flexible in getting insight in the internal geometry of the model, for instance along well bore trajectories. A brand new Well Correlation tool, and the new connectivity tools to SMT’s KINGDOM on the seismic interpretation side, and the CMG plugin (pre and post processor for CMG’s simulators) for dynamic modeling.
