JewelSuite™ - DIANA MatrixFree Geomechanics

JewelSuite™ is well-known in the oil and gas industry to provide the tightest integration between Geo-Modeling and Reservoir Flow Simulation. Now JewelSuite™ is giving a new meaning to Subsurface Workflow Integration, by adding geomechanical simulations to the integrated subsurface toolkit. In contrast to conventional implementation, the JewelSuite™ -DIANA software is based on MatrixFree Technology, greatly accelerating computation. This way geomechanical simulations can become a commodity task in Field Development Planning, providing – among others – solid prediction of well integrity over the asset life cycle.
JewelSuite™ 3D-gridding generates both finite difference grids for integrated Reservoir Simulation and finite element meshes for Geomechanical Analysis. The choice of reasonable inputs for geomechanical simulation has always been problematic, making it a specialist task. By combining Fusion’s pre-drill pore pressure interpretation from seismic velocities with JS™-MatrixFree technology and TNO-DIANA’s recognized expertise in Geomechanics, integrity and subsidence predictions become now available to professionals.
