With Jewel Suiteâ„¢ 2007, the Windows .NET based Jewel Suiteâ„¢ Software Development Kit (SDK) has been released as easy to use plug-in development environment. It allows users to develop and integrate their own functionality seamlessly inside the Jewel Suiteâ„¢ application suite.

JOA® Jewel Suite™ provides a very rich and easy to use .NET based framework that enables a unique plug-in architecture. It makes available such features as coupling databases and file formats, using your proprietary algorithms (e.g. for upscaling), interpolation techniques, and even custom applications or user interface components. The use of the Jewel Suite™ Software Development Kit (SDK) custom functionality is an integrated and seamless part of the overall Jewel Suite™ application, combining the best tools together in an easy-to-use, robust environment.

 The current Jewel Suiteâ„¢ plug-in catalogue includes the following plug-ins:

• Sensor Reservoir Simulator Plug-in (reservoir simulation)
• Eclipse Reservoir Simulator Plug-in (reservoir simulation)
• Dynamic Uncertainty Management Plug-in (reservoir simulation)
• Geographix Well Data Plug-in (data connectivity to easily import well data from ascii dumps of Geographix well data bases)

• SIGMA Plug-in (depth and property interpolation from sparse inputs using B-Spline technology)
