Account Manager – US
Job Summary: Manage named accounts in the United States – report to the Regional Sales Manager. A role requiring Sales experience with a proven track record of success, teamwork, travel, and business smarts.

Profile
- Positive, energetic and confident experienced sales performer, comfortable with winning new business as well as maintaining existing clients.
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in the oil and gas E&P business, selling upstream software technologies, with a proven successful track record.
- A ‘hands-on’ sales executive not afraid of getting his/her hands dirty
- A bachelors degree in petroleum engineering, geology or geophysics, is recognized as an advantage
- Skilled negotiator Capable of forging corporate-level strategic partnerships to drive long-term business growth.
Accountabilities
- Work with Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute an aggressive sales strategy and customer account plans to achieve Sales targets for the region.
- Execute direct sales via customer visits, seminars, lunch & learns. Initiate and manage technical evaluations. Close business. Achieve targets.
- Manage forecasting, account management, identification of stakeholders, regular reporting.
- Mentor junior sales engineers and steer technical sales engineers towards successful JewelSuite sales.
Territory
The position is based in Houston Texas. Extensive travel may be required to other locations in the US including, Colorado, Oklahoma, Dallas, Michigan and Pennsylvania depending on business needs.
